  • Can I rent Photosprouts' cameras and lenses?

    Absolutely! The rental cost is $50 per set.


    Alternatively, you can take pictures with your smartphones.

  • What if the class has more girls than guys, or vice versa?

    In this case, the class will be canceled and you'll get a refund. 

  • Is it like a dating thing?

    Not 100%!


    We understand all the stress and awkardness when it comes to speed dating and blind dates (we've been there!). The most natural way to meet other singles is to do what you're passionate about. You'll be yourself when you're doing what you love, and let love unfold naturally!

  • I'm not falling in the age group (25-40), can I join?

    To help everyone set the right expections, this class is for this age group.


    We are creating more classes in the future that could serve more age groups.

  • I'm seeing someone, can I sign up for this class?

    No, this class is for singles. 


    If you are not single but interested in photography, please sign up for our regular photography workshops.

  • Can I attend this class multiple times to meet different people?

    Yes! The course materials and locations change from time to time so that you can sign up again to learn something new, and of course, meet more singles!

  • We have moved the San Francisco Beginner 101 Workshop to Saturday mornings (instead of weekday after-office hours) to make it convenient for people working from home.
  • For Fresh Beginners: learn the basics in 2 hours through hands-on training: shooting in the Auto, Program and Semi-Auto Modes of a DSLR camera.
  • Learn to take sharp photos, create shallow depth of field (sharp subjects with blurred background), and capture motions.
  • Small class size: maximum 4 attendees (during the pandemic)
  • Preparation class for the Saturday afternoon Beginner 102 & 103 Workshops (which shows attendees how to shoot in the manual mode through landscape, portrait, still-life, street, action, water and light painting photography).
  • This class is for adults only (18+).
